J.W. Embry is an experienced researcher, and the head of our Research Department.
In my review of CodeFinder 1.19 I stated, "Kevin Acres is a brilliant programmer, in my opinion"; I must revise that statement based upon my review of CF 1.20 The Millenium Edition (CFTME): Kevin Acres has PROVEN he is a brilliant programmer and that he not only listens to suggestions, he has actually incorporated them into this exceptional code research tool!!
CF The Millenium Edition caught me totally off-guard!! I expected it to be CF 1.19 with a few improvements, (which, by the way, was a very good program for code research for any experienced researcher), I was wrong!
This version is a complete rework that maintains all the good points of CF 1.19 and then adds additional tools that make it a delight to work with! In the past, I held the opinion that CF was NOT for anyone "new" to code research; throw that opinion out the window when it comes to CFTME: a newbie can now do realistic code research with relative ease and the experienced researcher has all the power he or she needs to find intricate codes!
The program can be set to automatically find the best matrix (using the auto Row Splitting function) and will even crop it for you to save and display later. Another improvement (actually, my favorite), is the "Report" function: once you have completed your research and are ready to print, etc., CFTME can provide you with a written outline of the word finds (including the Hebrew letters that form the various words) along with their ELS values and the start and ending positions in the Scripture. This one feature, by itself, can save you a great deal of time in preparing a report to explain the matrix and gives you a lot of detail at a glance.
I highly recommend this powerful, easy to use, program to ANYONE (Newbie or Pro), who wants to do serious code research!
Lastly, Mr. Acres has once again made this "Upgrade" (an understatement) available to all registered users for FREE!!!!
