18, 2000 Two new articles by
the webmaster, The Minimum Threshold Of
Plausibility For An N-Term Array (also in a non-technical
version which is lighter on math) and Why Cluster Analysis Is Flawed.
The first article presents the results of a period of review and
critique of the Protocol For Statistical Analysis posted in April.
In it, the concept of a minimum threshold of plausibility for an n-term
Bible code array is introduced, and a modified equation from the Protocol
article is given for the purpose of testing whether or not a given array
meets this threshold. The second articles gives reasons why I
believe that cluster analysis as presented at Roy Reinhold's website is
flawed.

Guest author Moshe Aharon Shak addresses the statistical analysis of +1
skip distance terms (i.e., surface text words and phrases) as handled
within a codes software program's report function. He discusses some
of the special issues concerning +1 skip terms (as compared to longer skip
distance terms) and proposes a 4-part method for performing these
analyses.
May 7, 2000 Walt York (no
