Dissention Among the Body

Why is it that the Body of Christ has become broken, and divided? The church has become not a group of one accord. The people of God have become separated in their service unto God, we have disjoined his perfect being unto many smaller parts, each with its own strength, but each crippled, because it is lacking the rest of the Body. There are so many factions, just like it was talked about in the book 1st Corinthians, when the Body had separated, with some saying I belong to Peter, I belong Apollo, or I belong to Paul. Come to know that the body of Christ is whole, and the church is whole. We have gone and ripped apart its arms and legs, its head and mouth, its eyes and ears. When will we realize this, that whoever accepts Jesus is given the power to become a son of God, and born again, this time of God? Know that we are all, no matter what denomination, brothers and sisters under the new birth, the more important birth. We are all truly family, yet we treat each other like strangers and enemies. So many are worried about doctrine, but I say that we should not worry about the doctrine of others, but tell and encourage each other to listen to God. If we all stopped listening to men, and following men’s ideas, if we started listening to God’s word and his Holy spirit which is in each one of us, there would be no dissention. If we all listened to God talking in our lives, admitting that we truly know not his ways and will, we could all be shaped by his truth, and would all finally be of one accord.
Why did God give us the Holy spirit? For in him is the knowledge and Power of God. The Body of Christ is so very large, no man or institution can even attempt to make it work well, but if we let God guide and teach each one of us, the body will move and work with perfection and speed. We must all learn to live under God’s authority and teaching, not what some person says unto you, and not what some person says God told him. Think not that your Father would leave you without direction and knowledge of the truth. He loves and cares for you as his son, and will guide and lead you himself. Never turn away from your brothers, those who have received Christ as their savior. Let each believer be dealt with by God himself, let God pour the answer into him, unless God instructs you otherwise. Do you think you can set a person straight, or do you not think God would do a better job? If anything, encourage each other to openly seek God on all matters and God will destroy all questions of doctrine and bring his will into place.
Understand now that you cannot lead people, that God must lead all, that you may be led by God to tell someone something, but still God is always in control of all things. What is the point of denominational headquarters? Who is in control of each person, is it not God who is teaching and leading each believer, is this not his job? All this does is make the church more dogmatic, each thinking it has discovered the truth, no person willing to truly discuss it with God. The time to come together is now, now is the time for the resurrection of the body of Christ. It has been dead lying in pieces for so long, but God all mighty is ready to resurrect it this time at the start of the third millennium, instead of the third day. The time has come for the followers of Christ to truly follow Christ and let him lead and guide so that Christ’s body may once again be resurrected.
All of us who have received new life in Christ, and believe that in him only
can salvation be found, should unite with the common goal of reaching the lost.
We should reach out to every lost soul, including churchgoers who have been led
away from Jesus, into the bondage of religion.
As a believer you can do but one thing, and that is submit yourself unto God,
put what God has told you above all else, not what others say, but let God and
his word speak to your heart and you won’t go astray. You shall be made unto
the repaired body, and march with Jesus unto victory, the time is now. We are
family, we must act as such and not let the devil keep us apart any longer. May
God lead you and bring you into his place of guidance and refuge, so that we all
may come together as brothers and sisters in Christ. Amen!
