Those who do not believe in the Bible Codes, believe that there are no "hidden codes," and that what has been found is nothing more than a result of pure random chance. This page is a collection of our answers to various claims against the Bible Codes. It is divided into three sections: (1) answering the claims of some Christian opponents of the Bible Codes; (2) answering the claim that the codes can be duplicated in other non-biblical books; and (3) responses to Michael Drosnin's book, "The Bible Code".  In addition to what is found below, we recommend that you read the articles in our Feature Articles and Book Reviews sections.

There are still many Christians who do not believe in the codes. If you are one of those, please click here. Below are links to answers to some of the claims made against the codes.

Answers to Attempts at Duplicating the Codes In Other Texts

This issue is dealt with in Section 2 of The Truth About The Bible Codes.  For a much more thorough exposition on the claims by McKay, et. al., see the article by Harold Gans, A Primer on the Torah Codes Controvery for Laymen at the Discovery Seminar site, Torah Codes: Responding to the Critics.htm (also at the Discovery Seminar site), as well as the articles by Doron Witztum at http://www.torahcodes.il.
