About This Site
Last Updated: March 19, 2000
This website is here as a free resource for
everybody. We are in no way associated with any book that has been written about
the codes, and do not in any way support or agree with Michael Drosnin's book,
"The Bible Code" (1997). We are not even convinced by his book, because the codes that he reported in his
book are not significant compared to what has been found since.
Here you can learn everything there is to know about the Bible Codes, and at the
same time be kept up to date with the latest news, code findings, and answers to
attacks on the codes. We also have a researcher forum, discussion forum,
detailed answers to nearly 40 of the most frequently asked questions, and much
more.
Whether you are religious or not religious, believe in the codes or are a skeptic, you will find something of interest at this web site. We are confident that there is enough here to convince people, and we will show that the skeptics continue to attack only the original discoveries, because that's all they are able to explain.

A Brief History of the Site
This site was created by A. J. Larson
in November of 1998. It moved to http://thebiblecodes.com, and officially became a site in February of 1999.
Throughout the months, as A. J. and the staff updated the site and added more
content, it grew from 5 pages to over 1000. From February 1 to
May 1, 1999, the site attracted over 8,000 visitors. By June 1, the site had attracted
17,000 visitors. By July 15, the site had attracted over 30,000 visitors.
As of
November 24, 1999, the site had attracted over 60,000 visitors.
In late 1999, A. J.
Larson became involved with a local Bible study group and his available time for
this site decreased. Thus in early 2000, after e-mail discussions with
staff member Keith York, it was decided that he would take over the position of
webmaster. While the files were transferred from one individual and server
to another, the site was offline during most of February and part of March
2000. Now the site is back up. We give all the glory to God, as he has opened so many doors for us along the way.
Why this Site was Created
Despite all the talk about the Bible Codes phenomenon, and all the
Internet sites, there wasn't one major Internet site devoted to the codes from a Christian perspective,
where somebody could learn all about the codes, see many codes, get answers to
questions, and answers to claims against the codes. There are some great Christian sites out there on the codes, but none where you can learn about the codes in
great detail, and keep up to date with the new developments.
We used the Internet to our advantage, because books get outdated a few months after they
come out. We also started this site, because many people believe that the codes are just a hoax so software developers can make money.
This site sells
nothing, and is not associated with anybody that does. Most of all, our
former webmaster wanted to do something for the Lord, and with the help of the staff he assembled,
he did a great job..
What You'll Find at this Site
The
sections of this site are all listed on the main
page, under "Sections". There you will find brief descriptions of
them.
Where and How to get Started
Where you should start at this site depends on what you believe and what you know already.
In addition to the links listed below, the reader (whether new to the codes or
quite knowledgeable of them) is advised to read the new article The
Truth About The Bible Codes
If you have never heard of the codes, start with About the Bible
Codes.
If you have only heard about "The Bible Code" by Michael Drosnin, please know that there is a lot more to the codes than what is in that book, which we do not even agree with.
Please start with Answers to Claims.
If you have heard of the codes, but feel they can be duplicated by any book similar in size, start with
Answers to Claims.
If you are a Christian, and already believe in the Divine Inspiration of the Bible, but think the codes are
foolishness or "playing around with God's Word", go here.
If you have heard of the codes, and believe in them, but want to know more, go to one of the sections mentioned
on the main page. You might want to start
with Frequently Asked Questions.
Lastly, and most importantly, If you're sick of religion, and you something Real, you need to meet God personally.
How we view God can be compared to a glove. If you view Him as some distant
figure, He's just like a glove sitting on a rack, lifeless, careless, and you
can never get Him to do anything. If you have a personal relationship with God,
as He wants everybody to, you begin to know and understand Him. It's like
putting your hand in the glove. It takes shape, and you know that you know the
glove will move when you move your hand. When you know God, you know that you
know that you know He will meet your every need, and hear your prayers. Most of
all, you are secure in your faith, and know where you are going when you die.
